Somewhere in the list there must be a rule that says the shot you want the
most will be preasented to you on a dive done without a camera.

Something we've all gone through.  Take heart, it gets worse.  Just about
the time you figure out how far away that picture really is, and how to set
the lens to get sharp focus before the picture has disappeared, you'll find
that your strobe was not pointed at what you were trying to take a picture
of.  I have a whole book of shots where the rocks to the right, left, above
or below my subject were quite well illuminated.
