Cool, I seem to have stirred up a dormant nest of sea creatures!

I'm Matt Saltzman. I teach math at Clemson University, right here in
beautiful downtown Clemson SC.

I've been diving on and off (more off than on, until recently)
starting in the mid-1960s in the Red Sea, then off the Massachusetts
coast (in the late 70s), then (since I moved here ten years ago) a bit
in Texas (Lake Travis and a Flower Gardens trip), our local lakes
(Keowee and Jocassee), off the SC coast (Beaufort and Hilton Head--the
former with dear, departed list denizen Pat Miller, who still owes me
some pictures from that trip) and Florida (Destin, PCB, various springs
and the Keys).

I dream of tropical sites, but haven't had a chance to make it happen.
I'm also interested in Carolina coastal dives, and in just getting my
dive frequency up a bit (after pretty much sitting out last year).
