Insurance and scam go together real well in most states. Just a question of
the scam du jour. Seems to me, that insurance is legalized gambling. You
are betting something will happen and the insurance company is betting it
wont. Problem is, you pay and pay and then when it finally happens, the
insurance company whines about how unfair it is and how they will have to
raise rates. There is something fundamentally flawed about the whole
insurance system in this country. In Texas, the current scam is mold. You
cannot even get insurance until there has been a mold inspection and then
mold damage is excluded from most policies.
