On Mon, 6 May 2002 22:00:51 -0500, Chuck <[log in to unmask]>
chose to continue his drivel, but first snipped this:

CH> Not at all inept (and at least I can spell).

RF> As in your spelling of "Nashua Grouper"?

The spelling game was over LONG AGO, ever since Christian Gerzner made
a damned fool of himself in his entrance in Scuba-L, thinking he was
impressing everyone with his MS degree in English, and was promptly
told by Strike and others that what he nitpicked on Jan turned out to
be his own error!

As for 'inapt' or 'inept', both would apply to my SARCASTIC remark
about Chuck's remark about his "throwing an anchor"!

DEF>...1. Inappropriate: an inapt remark. 2. Inept: inapt handling of
DEF> the project. in·aptly -ADVERBin·aptness -NOUN...

In response, Chuck brought out the fact that he was a Water Safety
Instructor, missing altogether the humor/sarcasm in my reply.

>> So, you're saying you are very apt in throwing an anchor to someone

>Check your own. Mine is fine.

Not when a joke has to be explained and diagrammed to you.

>Dont bother to reply. You just went into the bit bucket.

I reply or not reply whenever *I* choose. Your entire head is a bit
bucket Chuck. Get over it.
