You're right of course but I still don't see the real problem (see below).

My point is (at last, I am getting there :-) ) that if Sherry decides to
crosspost, the threads might get weird and people will lose interest in the
subject. In any case, if it happens, and it bothers her, or others, they
can use the "D" key and/or not take part in that specific thread, and/or
tell Sherry to get lost :-). I don't think that it is such a big deal,
that's all.

I'll tell you what I do in such cases. I just stop reading posts from
people that annoy me :-)
