Mate! Like all dive sites, it has its good, its bad and its ugly days. And
like all dive sites, the more that you dive there, (with an open mind!) the
more that you discover. The marine life may not be quite as prolific - or
as colourful - as that found on a tropical reef, but it's equally as
interesting and, often, more intriguing and exciting. Better yet, it's
almost on my doorstep! (Well, within about twelve-minutes of 'almost'!) :-)

It's been thirty-odd years, (that's thirty-odd years, not thirty odd years -
even 'though some of them have been!) since I dived in the Med.. I can
still recall the outstanding visibility and being able to see amphoraes
(sp?) on the seafloor way beyond our reach and thinking that one day someone
will have the technology and access to the appropriate equipment and gas to
safely dive down and retrieve them. They're probably now gracing a museum
somewhere in the world! :-)

Enjoy! And tell us about it on your return! :-)
