I'm a little late to this tread but have found it interesting.  I thought
Lee provided an excellent overview of the situation and I agree with him
and Strike.  From the Aggressor’s perspective, I hope someone has told
Hasson to shut-up.

Anyway, what I found most interesting from the very limited information
available was the following:

If the investigation indicates that the sausage was deployed then it is
reasonable to conclude the diver was on the surface and waiting for pick-
up.  Reports of insufficient fuel aboard the tender(s)now becomes much
more important evidence.
