Hi Folks & Folkettes,

This is a revised edition of the PRIVATE Bulletin #1, for public
consumption, in the event those in Scuba-SE with too much time on
their hands June 1-2 may decide to join a bunch of wild-and-crazy
NEDheads for a day (June 1) or weekend of unsensored FUN. :-)

The Choo-Choo-mini-NEDfest is now officially Kell-sanctioned
though not entirely jelled. But since my diving season is about to
begin in three days and will have only a one-day break back here on
May 10, I thought I had better get this out for perhaps a Bulletin #2
to incorporate any necessary tweaks to the "plan", before I leave, or
on my one-day intermission from Paradise.

By unanimous lack of objection :-), the main events of June 1 will be:

1. Arrival at Feeesh's NEDfest Headquarters whenever convenient
between 10:00 and 12:15. Lunch at Chef Lin's BUFFET (5084
     S. Terrace Road, Chattanooga TN 37412). 12:30 - 14:30.

You may get your personalized DRIVING instruction by going to
     http://mapquest.com/directions/
by specifying FROM (your address) TO:

8201 Gate House Xing, Chattanooga TN 37421-3274

the Feeesh house address, or Chef Lin's restaurant address, or
between those two addresses (which gives a nice MAP of the
6.94 miles from LING to LIN, in 13 explicit steps, starting
with 0.01 mile (which I've never noticed) from our driveway to
the street to go the next 0.22 mile to the entrance of our
     Ashley Mill Subdivision!

BTW, Feeesh LING and Chef LIN are the same Chinese last-
name character, but no relation to each other. It's a "free lunch"
of over 100 items in the food bar, in seafood, steak, sushi, and
Chinese and pseudo-Chainese items, for all attendees/gluttons.
No camel steak for Mike though. :-)

2. Choo Choo Aquarium after lunch is the unanimous choice. IMAX
combo seems to stand out, especially in view of the package and
group rates, and it's a short 3D film.. See

That's Mark's clip for seadragons, seahorses, and paddlefish et al.

3. Free time for small-group dinner or play it by ear before evening party.

4. Evening NEDfest at Feeesh's Headquarters: 20:00 -- ???

DEFINITE attendees of SOME or ALL of the above events:

Jeff, Carolyn, and Byron Kell (Choo Choo)
Viv the Krazy Kiwi (OZ and NZ)
Mike & Karen Wallace (Alabamy, aka Alabama)
Mark & Ann Bevilhimer and #1 and #2 sons Nathan &Samuel
(Boys from Oak Ridge TN, but the "Oak Ridge Boys" NOT)
Steve Catron (Nashville TN)
David Hale (Alabamy)
Harold & Muriel Pritchett (Athens, GA; now visiting London, then
Florence and Cartuna Italy ..., looking for Giovanni...not.
Just attacking their "retarred" status with a vegeance.
Alfred Kirkland (GA)
Steve and Donna Weigold (Hamilton, Ohio) just to set a record for the
longest DRIVE to a NEDfest, 396 miles, one-way easily
out-distancing Mike Wallace's 300 miles to the Hatlanta NEDfest
in 1995. :-) But Mike did that ROUNDTRIP in one day. :-))
Bob and Sue, the elderly rotund gentleman and the Saint (Choo Choo)

Hopefully PROBABLE:

Harold and Muriel's pals Don and Pat (Signal Mountain, Choo-Choo-ish)
(Won't know for sure till I hear from Harold on May 10)
David Hale's HS buddy now TV News character -- hope David can
persuade him to join us for lunch or party. Who knows? The Krazy
party folks maybe TV worthy, even without John Nitrox... . :-)
Richard Grmbrell (Jeff's boss), and a UTC lurker (Jeff's understudy or
UTC spy <g>) should take a look at what they are harboring. :-)
There are a couple of other "definAte mebbees" ...

That puts the Choo-Choo-mini-NEDfester tentative count somewhere
between 19 and 25, a full-boat and a truly cattleboat of ANIMALS! <BG>

Day 2. June 2. KISS day. All arrangements are "Play it by ear",
as many NEDfesters have to leave early for home or w*rk.

Al Kirkland suggested a Sunday Morning "Grits and Eggs" place
after a hard night's partying. Great idea. I have changed my
original plans of another free lunch buffet to free greeeets,
but no 'American breakfast' the kind Strike had <G>:

Sunday morning ??:00 : Greeets, beeeskits & gravy breakfast
buffet (several possibilities near Feeesh's place).

Rock City and Ruby Falls (or just the Gift shops there-in <G>)

Most probable attendees: Viv and da Feeshes, the Oak Ridge Boys,
the Pritchetts (never been thar), and perhaps gift-shopping Al.
Also Steve & Donna Weigold, and Mike and Karen Wallace if they
can wiggle out of their Sunday commitment at home.

All other events are subject to impromptu negotiations and arm-twisting.
Other details and activities during the week are snipped for what's left
of 'brevity'. :-)

Y'all are invited, you hear?

Post in SE; or email to [log in to unmask] before Apr 29, or email to
[log in to unmask] between Apr 29 and May 9.
