OVERRATED!  (I'll give you overpriced:)

I have refrained from making this observation for many years b/c of the
advocates on this list and their feelings for Cozumel.  But I have to tell
you, from my trip to Cozumel, I can't think of a more overrated destination
in the Caribbean.  I have always assumed that I didn't do the best dive
spots, but from my trip in 95, I have never seen more beat-up and trampled
reefs in all my diving than in Cozumel.  It is cheap, but you get what you
pay for!  I was stunned at how beat up I found the reefs after all I had
read on the Internet about Cozumel.  I just assume that all the Cozumel
talk-up is from Texans on the net who never go anywhere else.

Does anyone agree with me.

P.S.  Spare me the flames.  We all know everyone on this list who loves the
place, so that is not exactly news.  I want to know who else thinks like
me, that the place has been trashed by too many poor diving tourist on
cheap holidays.
