Yes!

Huw, I believe.

I used to think they were a joke just like Spare Air, until I learned
that Dan Hartman (Cozumel), who dives Cocos Island more often than
anyone I know other than one of the liveaboard crew members, uses
them.

It's a matter of the style of kick!

No two sets of fins are optimally used by the same kicking style.
That's the seldom-discussed mystery of the art of diving with fins. :-)
