Angelo...welcome to Scuba SE. You ask very good questions and
the responses so far have been excellent.

Bouyancy control is not easy to master and when you are starting
out, you'll sometimes wonder if you'll ever get the hang of it.
In time you will and then you won't even give it much thought.
You'll be more concerned with looking at the critters you
encounter whilst diving.

I found that keeping good log records regarding weighting,
rubber, tanks, depths etc. really helps. When we travel and go
from 5mm wetsuits to sometimes no wettie at all, it's good to
refer back to the logbook to see what combination works best.

Having good bouyancy control makes the activity so much more
enjoyable, but you have to work on it in the beginning. It will
come. Go diving...lots! That's the real secret.

Keep the list up to date with your diving. Let us know how it's
all going.

Cheers
Birdo
