A complete non-issue. Just replace the webbing every 1-2 years. Cost: next
to nuffink. Done in 10 minutes.

Depends on whether you have the foam chest strap covers or not. If you do,
it's a first class pain in the butt. Without them, it's not a big deal, but
it's also not exactly what I'd call robust which, I believe, is the word
Halcyon uses to describe their kit. How many other BCDs do you know of
where you have to replace the harness every two years? My, non robust
Oceanic BCD got about 6 years of diving before I switched to a plate and
wing and it still looks like new. No replaced straps, no broken plastic
bolts, no electrolysis . . . I really like my Halcyon stuff, but that does
not blind me to their quality assurance problems.

Shouldn't that number increase by the value of 1 each year? Or do you count
lunar years now?

As I have already admitted, I did not count well.

BTW, note that your comments still aren't identified by a > despite settings
at my end that do this for everybody else. If it weren't you alone, I'd
suspect something at my end, but it does appear to be you alone.
