To all you beer drinking swabs (except Strike who is just a swab). I
used to make my own beer and the alcohol content can be controlled
quite easily. Beer is usually between 4-6 percent alcohol and is
initially measured by specific gravity. Ales are slightly higher in
alcohol. The alcohol content is a product of how much sugar you add
and how  long the yeast can tolerate the increasing alcohol content
until they eventually die.
