Thanks for the clarification Strike. :-)
I don't believe I was condeming any organization, I simply stated that
Carl's synopsis was accurate, according to what was posted on the GUE list.
And I entered an opinion based upon comments made by others on that and
other lists. That's all.

Nor did I state that I agreed with Carl's views. Guilty by association? I
happen to think the DIR/Hogarth model makes sense, and am becoming educated
on it. However I do not yet embrace it to the exclusion of all other
training agencies. Indeed, I'm receiveing IANTD training later this season.
So, yes, I'll go back to my training manuals - and yes, I'll be a better
diver for it. :-)
