Most everyone drift diving in Fl is using a float.  And Lee is correct about
at least one thing and this is it (I happen to agree with Strike on dead
boat diving.) A person on the boat can put the boat between the divers and
another boat and may even be able to alert the divers to a problem on the
surface.   Doesnt mean the moron driving the boat sees one flag more than
the other but said moron is unlikely to trash his pretty toy by taking on
another boat. ..
