I picked up the tape from the video place yesterday,
and the conversion was successful. I was supposed to
get two copies so that I could keep one, but the guy
who did the conversion asked to borrow one copy for a
few days so that he could watch it. The cost was $40
for the two, which was pretty reasonable. (Tennis
buddy gave me a good discount.)

I checked out the other copy last night and it plays
pretty well. A little noise, but otherwise it looks
pretty good, especially considering that it has been
converted from an off-the-air recording. Didn't have
time to really watch it, but just let it play to make
sure it was okay.

Once I've seen it, I'll pass on one copy and the book
Viv included to Mike. Maybe if Mike is diving
somewhere next Saturday (hint hint) I can pass it
along to him then.

Thanks to Viv and Strike for sending this along. From
what I watched, it seems very well done.

David H.
