Subject: Re: [SCUBA-SE] Fins continued

Hi all

Hate to bring up the subject again re fins, but.....

I've been following the posts about fins quite closely, and have read up on
both and some others, and have decided to get either a set of Quattros or
Graphite Twin Jets. I asked a friend of mine, Rob, who runs a dive shop in
the north of London about his opinion. He said he would highly recommend
the Quattros as in his opinion they are the best on the market at the moment
(and he said he'll sell them to me for £65 - £20 off the retail price!!).
As for the twin jets, he said he bought a lot of them for his classes and
they didn't last very long at all with all the wear and tear and therefore
he wouldn't recommend them.

as well, he added the following:

"anyway the all new Mares volo fin will beat
anything on the market if you can get them as they are as rare as rocking
horse crap at this time they sell so quick we have had the on order now for
four months!"

Any thoughts?

Cheers!
