We had a presentation on the Leeuwin current & what tropical fish it brings
down our coastline on Tuesday night. 1999 & 2000 we had a huge jump in the
numbers of tropical fish counts around Rottnest Island. 2001 it dropped a
little ... but the good news was the sea temperature in some parts was 27
degrees celcius due to that Leeuwin current. Sadly it really only gets down
to Dunsborough before it starts pettering out so Albany misses out. We are
BOTH gonna feel the cold down there.

Is Team Four involved again?

Cool! I'm game if you are. I would never turn down a dive on the Swan.
If we cant get a boat over to the jetty we could go down on the train off
the wharf itself. *Mad* Max & I did that the hard way ... we got there late
so it was a one-way trip on the train ... we had to walk all the way back
fully kitted up with cameras, etc. Fortunately Max did not expire on me but
we just made it :-)

LOL .. I've got some pretty party frocks you can borrow ... now what do we
do with those hairy legs ;-))

I'm game if you are ;-)
Will be good to catch up with you mate. I've just about finished reading
the 'Underwater Warriors' book after having to chase around for it after it
was passed on to others. Once you have finished with it we can organise for
it to be sent over to the US, UK or where ever to those interested - on the
priviso I get it back eventually.
