The one I saw was also a Great Hammerhead, but was probably a bit under 3m.
Still and all, he was very impressive. Much thicker from top to bottom and
with a much larger, in proportion, dorsal fin than I expected. If I get to
count Bonnet Head sharks as Hammerheads, then I've seen lots. They breed in
Biscayne Bay and are fairly common in one of the areas I often anchor in for
a night ot so. If they don't count, I'll have to live with being behind . .
. until I see my next one.
