The same thing happened last year.

I started a bit late booking my annual pilgrimmage to HELL, while doing
a bit of diving on the Aggressor.

Nearly every charter in the summer months were booked solid except for
a couple of weeks in which a cabin I don't want us still available.

Then there was the week of May 8-15 (last year it was May 10-17) that
was WIDE open, with all my preferred cabins (3, 4, 5, 6, and 7) still
available -- so I promptly took Cabin #7, my no. 1 choice on that boat.

I did the booking on the cell phone while Sue was being the chauffeur
on our trip to visit her sisters and in-laws. TWO strange things
happened (which still remain a mystery):

1. The 1-800-DIV-BOAT number for the Aggressor got a recording that
it was no longer in service.

2. The 1-800-555-1212 directory assistance voice recognition answer
could not find the Aggressor listing, and the PERSON who answered
    could not find it either!

So, I finally phoned da Boss, Wayne Hasson, and asked what was going
on, and he blamed it on my cell-phone company on toll-free numbers --
a plausuble theory, but I got through to his number which is toll-free,
and I later did get the 1-800-DIV-BOAT number for my booking.

I phoned Crusty to see if he and his crew might be interested, and
his Boss said he is on Bitness in New York and I could ask him by
email -- but I don't have access to email now -- I am in the boondock
where none of the major ISPs has a local phone number for access.

So, Crusty -- this is my invitation to you join us that week while the
GOOD cabins are still available. I would invite others too except
many are the one-trip-a-year folks who are already La-Paz bound, or
ADEX/Bali bound, to book this one at such a short notice. But May
is an excellent time to dive the Cayman Islands -- by coincidence of
cabin-availabity, I am quite sure I dived in May there the last THREE
years (may be 4) in a row (will have to check my logbook to verify).
