Mate! I'd never be that previous with Viv! (She'd smack me in the gob!)
:-)

(And in any event, all the other stuff that her workmate wrote certainly
doesn't - from my recent observations <bwg> - apply to Viv!) :-)

Mind you, in terms of 'footy' - or football - I have an enviable record! I
was selected to play Rugby Union for the Navy, in Hong Kong, many years ago.
I noticed that, (in order to prevent the opposition leaping on me and
smashing me to a messy pulp) the best thing to do when the ball landed in my
hands - or when I managed to steal it from the other team - was to get rid
of it as quickly as possible. :-)

Now on the sports field there's no distinction between officers and oicks -
like wot I woz. It's a great theory! But as soon as I passed the ball,
with a shout of, "To you, SIR!", to an officer on my team, they'd
immediately be marked as a target worthy of belting into the ground! :-)

On those occasions when I visted them in hospital, I always claimed that it
had been an involuntary re-action on my part! :-)

She is, too! :-)

Me? I'm busy hydrating myself for an early morning dive at ... Yes! You
guessed it. The "beginner's" paradise of Shelly Beach in order to hopefully
record more of the amazing critters that seem to dwell there - for those who
care to look! :-)

Maybe, tomorrow, we'll head further out to sea, to the shallow 24-metre
reefs that lie about 800-metres from the rocky coastline. Then again, we
may not! :-)
