Nope, not actually. Its my very serious gear collection that I am
entertaining the purchase of to replace the Nik RS AF since sold.

Actually that should have read 50mm f1.4.

IMO Canon makes the best, or close to, lenses (35mm format) presently
available. Most of these lenses use ultrasonic motors to achieve
electronic focus. This is especially useful in low light (read
unnawata) conditions.

I believe that Nikon (I'll stand corrected, its what I read recently
on a list where mistakes are soon rectified but I did not confirm it
for myself) came out with their first equivalent lens not that long
ago whereas Canon have a huge range (but there's a 60mm hole in it).
