It's the only downside to Jets, is the trim issue when diving wet.  The day
someone makes a fin that kicks like a Jet but is neutral (or even slightly
positive) they have a grateful customer in me.

More wing lower down doesn't make a lot of difference if you are correctly
weighted.  If you really want ditchable weight about the only suggestion I
can make is wear a thicker wetsuit, to allow trim weight with some on a belt
too.  (In a 6.5mm suit with a steel tank, I wear 2kgs SS plate, 1 kgs trim
weight around top of tank, 2 kgs on belt.  With an ali tank, something like
2 kgs plate, 2kgs trim, 3 kgs belt would do it, but I'm naturally pretty
tail heavy even without heavy fins.)

You could also put a load of fat on your legs, but that's not exactly an
ideal solution either.
