You betcha! :-)
In the seventies, eighties and through into the 'nineties, it became popular
to say something like, "Thank Heaven that the way that we teach diving has
advanced to the point where we've moved away from those early, 'Do as I say
or you will die, horribly and painfully!', days that represaented the
military approach to teaching diving! :-)
All that DIR has done is to recognise the value in that form of training!
