once upon a long long time ago, the company for which I worked was absorbed
by EDS. A Sr VP came to tell us and inform us that we were going to be
allowed to keep the dress code of the old company so long as we were on that
account. As he looked out over the audience of 50-60 people there were
about 15 really awful leisure suits, 20 or so pairs of blue jeans, and about
30 beards (this was back when EDS was blue suits and white shirts.) Some of
the beards were even on men! This Sr VP had been working for 30 years to
overcome a stutter but this audience was too much for him. He didn't get 10
words out without stuttering.

So much for non-SCUBA.

The water temps in Lake Travis are coming back up (and so is the water
level) after the winter. Almost up to 60 at the surface. Probably warmer
(and maybe better viz) than the Tennesee River.
