Huw - Your comments below about the Suunto computers using the SRGBM
model very mcuh highlight the point I was trying to make. As you point
out, the Suunto computers continue to display no-dec time in both modes
before a decompression obligation is incurred.

With the new Uwatec computers, on the other hand, no-dec time is no
longer shown. What appears in the "no-stop" window is the time before
an advisory level stop warning may be issued. Once that advisory level
stop warning appears (which can be quite early in the dive), the
computer continues to calculate no-dec time, but the diver has no
access to this information until a mandatory decompression obligation
is incurred and the deco stop warning appears.

This doesn't make much sense as a way to design a dive computer to me,
but that's what they did.

Thanks for the comments.
