Personally, I think Mika probably did suffer from the disease at one time,
but was in the process of recovery when I met him, about 4 years ago. Jim's
contagion was probably more recent, but the symptoms have begun to recede.
I had the disease briefly as well, after Mika, but maybe before Jim . . . or
not. I like to think I made a quick recovery. All three of us believes in
the quality of the gear we use, at least some of which is similar, if not
identical to what has been or presently is used by the WKPP. The fact that
we are not followers of the religion does not mean we are blind to its
merits. If you are, I'm sorry to hear it. Very few recreational divers are
DIR in the strictest sense of the word, but most I know of that give the all
or part of the system, find things they like within it.

Mika didn't say that the cave cut was the only way. I asked why anyone
would chose something else and Jim Greenlee said it might be because they
didn't know there was an option. So far, Jim, Strike, Mika and others have
been quite responsive to my questions. Thanks to all. None of them has, in
my opinion, suggested that there is only one way and none of them, to my
recollection said I should chose what they did . . . until I had already
reached my own conclusion.

You're off track and out of line.

Word in the community is that George has taken an increased role in his
family businesses. I'm not sure he's as interested in heated discussions as
he once was, but if he's willing, I suspect Ikan is in for a surprise.
Personally, I'm not sure he's up to the task. Arguing with George is not
something for the faint of heart.

to reconsider the tactic.

Heard that. It's a no wind situation, something everybody I know of that
has tried it, has found out quickly enough.

BTW, send more commas, I'm almost out.
