The pictures are yours.  What you do with them is up to you.  They are most
likely not publication quality and most likely no amount of editing you
could do would make them so. So, cut the head off a cuttlefish and paste it
on a weedy seadragon and claim a new species.  ;-)  In short, adjust them so
that they fit your memories of the dive and not some artificial standard to
which amateur and pro photogs are trying tohold you.
