Ah! Did I neglect to mention the exact mechanism of the disappearance ? How
remiss of me.
Well there I was, in the bleedin Indian Ocean (quite a ways from you me
dear, I was in Mauritius). I had finished the
dive & was waiting to get back in the boat. Mr. very experienced DM look at
the penis protruding from my forehead who had dived absolutely miles of the
Indian Ocean and nowhere else in the world and was incidentally ALWAYS the
first back in the boat, was insistant that we removed our weights & BCs
etc. in the water ( I know best I am experienced you are not instructor you
will hurt your back do as you are told cos you know nothing).
Well I think I may have pissed him off slightly when I mentioned that at
home ALL the girls can exit the water on vertical (or worse) ladders
wearing full kit and more weight than he could lift, but he bloody well
needed to be told he was a plonker, and a wimpy one at that.
So, 'cos he and the rest of the crew are simply the worst I have ever come
across I am waiting to get back in the boat but of course he being so
bloody perfect & experienced needed half the crew to assist him; we were
going to be in the water for ages.
So, I took off my flippers & threw them in the boat. Now there is no way
they did NOT go in the boat, of that I am 100% certain.
But by the time everbody else had waited for the wanky crew to get sorted &
all were on board I only had one fin i nthe boat !!!
The wankers even ignored my protests and drove away from the dive site
without even looking for it !! They soon turned the boat round (yes, I
would have hit him with it, more than once & probably the rest of the crew
as well, I am not good with anger management, I am much better at hitting
numerous people hard enough that they don't get up for a while!).
So that was the last dive I did with that bunch of tosspots - told the
owner so as I got back to the dive shop; plus a few other prospective
Customers who also decided to go elsewhere.
By the time I left that side of the Island I still only had the one
filpper, so it ended up in the bin !

I loved those flippers, and they don't even do them in that deep red colour
any more :-(

So I need another pair, I wanted ones without sillly buckles, I don't want
to pay out another UK£20 for straps to replace ones I didn't want in the
first place, I wanted Red that they now don't do. I don't think I will be
buying Mares. So what do I buy ??
