Hi all,
Early (dark-thirty) Saturday I met Steve Weigold & his friend at a local
Dennys for breakfast, then we loaded Steve's gear in my mini-van & hauled
butt to Anacortes to catch Soundwave Scuba's boat the Misty Fjord. Turn
out to be a great day, nice weather (wasn't raining or snowing), great
scenery, and diving. I'm copying Nick's report below since he calls the
critters by name, instead of cute little fishies like I do. Steve had a
close encounter of the seal kind on our first dive.

Nick didn't mention the water temp., I recorded 40F!!!, someone else got a
reading of 39...ouch. Steve was really glad that he brought the new
drysuit. I didn't wear enough under garment on the first dive & my arms
went numb at one point. brrr!
The second dive was a drift dive like Nick mentioned, it had some
'interesting' upswells, there I was leisurely drifting along at 50+ feet,
when bamm, I'm at 35fsw, what a ride.
Good boat, good weather, good company, what more could you ask for?
