Good fer ya. I can hardly haul me arse outta bed at that hour except
when I am on a liveaboard, on which I wish I am now. ;-)

So I'm doing the next best thing at that hour, share some fat-chewing
(as we say here) with an Old Bastard downunder, about diving downunder.

How come you didn't have a trip report on that 7 am dive with Viv right
before the Choo Choo NEDfest? She said it was 17 deg. C (just about the
first thing she mentioned when she got off the plane at 11 pm). It took
me a while to do the mental calculation to relate it to the 29 deg C
diving she is doing NOW. The next day, I had to whip out my spreadsheet
program on "Alien Language Translation" (feet to meters, deg. F. to
degree C., psi to bar; and vice versa) to make sure that 17 deg. C.
was 62.6 deg F., about 10 degrees F below my Absolute Zero (measured
in Kelvin :-)) for diving.

Did she wear her 3-mil shortie (the warmest thingie she had) over her
lycra/polartec for that dive? Inquiring mind wants to know.

No wonder Viv did only 60 minutes on that 17 deg C. dive in her jim-jam.

Or ... to put it diplomatically ... which of you two won the 2002 Ozcar
for Tall-Tale Telling?

Others have beaten me to the punch on that last line, so I'll just
ask did you and Viv help each other with your zip-fly when you last
met? In your apres-dive with Tim Tams, that is. <BG>

Which reminds me ... I have to mail Viv the two tank-tops (is that what
a T-shirt with the bottom cut off called?) she left in our bedroom. <BWG>
Sue wondered what she wears (if anything) on the Aggressor now. :-)

But I did give her the video (which I showed a snippet in our Choo Choo
NEDfest on some topless wimmin riding mopeds to see the Cedral ruins
in Cozumel -- which I mentioned in one of my posts about ancient ruins
in Coz) to take to the CA-IV. Those wimmin DIVE topless too, in that
video, with minimally trimmed BCDs that left little to the imagination,
and no drag, fer sho! :-)

The QUESTION I sent for Viv to ask Mika was, "What does DIR prescribe
for wimmin diving topless?" I expect a report from Viv on this when
she returns to Oz next week, after a few more days of galivanting in
Grand Cayman with John and Brooxie, after the CAIV02fest.

Speaking of Viv, Tim Tams, and Oz diving ... we visited the Choo Choo
dive store (on our way to dinner), and she prompted bought up more
useless gadgets than those unused in my scuba closet, all the while
saying how cheap they were in the US! You guys must have your own
printing-press for Oz-dollars to think that stuff she bought in Choo
Choo were "cheap". :-)

While we were in the store, I did pick up one of their flyers on an
Oz DIVE TRIP (run by the Choo Choo shop) in March 2003! Looked
very expensive for what they offered.

Shouldn't you be working on organizing an Oz03NEDfest, after the
aborted Cairns00NEDfest? I have already given Viv a US$1,000,000
bill (with a certificate of authenticity of course) for DEPOSIT on
any such OzNEDfest. :-))
