Bob,
I have not confused my wager with your offer to Jeff.
My details and the context that I posted here were not flawed and in no
way suggested that the bet was pre-defined to be used for Jeff's berth
nor was there any suggesting of taking credit for your decision to use
your gain for this purpose -
My post mealy listed what were the facts of my only association with
Jeff other than reading of his past and his posts and what other have
said of him. People always bring stronger thoughts in such a situation
as Jeff is facing when there is some association slight as it may be-
and from this, I have followed his progress through your posts quite
closely.
It was your intent to use this gain for that purpose as you had said and
say here again and which pocket or the rest of what you care to clarify
in your mind has no bearing on the fact of the context of what I posted.

Your offer to him to support his trip was noble and unselfish and it is
too bad the he will not be able to make that trip, with or without
outside support.

So my sympathies go out to Jeff and his family and we can all only hope
for the best at this juncture.

Back to regular programming...

Ken
