Following in the giant footsteps of those who have gone before...

Up til about four months ago, I lived in London and had a glittering c*reer
as a marketing analyst with the loyalty scheme of 'The World's Favourite
Airline'. ;-) Gleefully jacked that in, seized by a desire to see the
world, my wanderings as a travel photographer so far have taken me to South
America, French Polynesia and New Zealand, and I'm now temporarily resident
in Sydney, Australia looking to earn the funds for the next stage of my trip
(Asia).

Having *always* wanted to dive (I blame my parents leaving Cousteau books
around the house when I was an impressionable age ;-)) I seized a chance to
Put A Dollar In last September., and became an irregular contributor to
scuba-l about the same time. Eight months down the line, I've survived the
grand total of 40 dives, in the UK, Red Sea, Tahiti, Rangiroa, New Zealand,
and most recently from Shelly Beach, Sydney with Strike, Ralf, Birdo and
Julian, among others, of these e-parishes.

There's plenty of life in the ol' delete finger yet, and through these
forums I've met - in the flesh(!) - a load of really great people, long may
that continue. :-)

Cheers,
Huw
