Mate! As *I* understand it, the ZHL series is more 'conservative' than,
say, the USN tables - but that's as far as my knowledge extends. I am,
however, meeting up with John Lippmann - and hopefully, Bennet, Elliot and
Mitchell - later this week at the Underwater Hyperbaric Medical Society
Conference that's taking place in Sydney, and I'll try and remember to ask
about the differences in the various Buhlman algorithms and what relevance
each of them has to particular diving applications - in simple, "the cat sat
on the mat" terms so that I understand what it is they're saying! :-)

No! Nilman would have probably said: "What is algorithm?" :-))

(At various times, I've tried very hard to understand the science behind
decompression algorithms - and failed miserably until I decided to just
regard all of them as offering different levels of 'probability'.) :-)
