I respect your reasoning, but I'm not sure I can follow it.  I added the
Seacure to my primary because the old mouthpiece was becoming an
uncomfortable distraction by the second or third day of diving, so it would
be awfully hard to give that up for such a relatively rare contingency.  I'm
hoping that the 5' OW primary I've added will offset any difficulties an OOA
diver might have.
