Well, the picture of him in the 1975 <Guinness Book of World Records>
shows a handsome head with a dry nose and a scalp full of dark hair
protruding from the diving suit Senior Commissioned Boatswain George A. M.
Wookey wore while diving to a depth of 1060 fsw off the British Admiralty
salvage ship <Reclaim> in Oslo Fjord on June 28, 1956. That antedates
<Star Wars>, Sheck Exley, Jim Bowden, and even giiii, who would have been
about three years old then. The big show biz diving star on the tube at
the time was Lloyd Bridges, who never went below 30 fsw. Please forgive me
for this reality check, but Chuck was leading me to wonder who detuned
Darth Vader's reg and if Berry Scuba sold a wetsuit big enough for Chewbacca.

John
