Nope, first I've heard of it. I wouldn't think you'd be able to use the flight deck for camping for very long. Personally I think it would be cool to sink it so that part of the island (superstructure) stuck out of the water (at least until the rust and wave action cause it to collapse), with the flight deck at 30 to 50 feet.
Hopefully Flori-duh doesn't do another Spiegel Grove with it.

              Aircraft carrier

Some time ago there was talk of sinking an aircraft carrier somewhere
around Puget Sound in Washington. The talk was they were going to have it
sitting in 200+ feet of water and the flight deck would be just above the
water line. This woud allow for a campground or other facilities. You could
then dive all around it. Seemed like a good idea when I heard about it. Ed,
do you remember anything about this?
