Ahhhh, I took it as a typing error.  My mistake.  As it happens, it makes
sense both ways, once you understand the lingo.  Carl's thinking works OK
when he's actually thinking.  He's really quite knowledgeable, just a bit
more specialized than you and I are.  What he does most and best, we don't
do any more and, at least in my case, never did to the levels he often
reaches.  Like a lot of other people, he sometimes gets intense about things
he feels or believes strongly.  Overall, I've found him to be a worthwhile
correspondent, sometimes better than others.  I've blasted him a time or two
just as he's done to me.  Overall, we do OK.

I figured as much.  I was not offended, but was headed in that direction.
Our relationship has been and is too strong to be damaged that easily.  I
was a bit concerned that, in the height of passion, things could
deteriorate.  Glad we're back on track.
