That's no different from other insurer's refusal to 
insure dive gears for fear you might use them to dive!  :-)

You sound like a risk-averse man.  My theory is that since
ANY insurance is an unfavorable gamble for the insured, I
don't insure anything that I can afford to lose.  That's
why I even refuse to pay a couple hundred bucks to have
collision insurance on any of the new cars I've ever bought.
