I envy you guys your shore diving opportunities.  While there is some shore
diving here, there's about no chance of running into deep water just beyond
the breakers and since our shoreline does not provide protected areas, those
swimming out from shore are exposed to the dangers of boat traffic.  I do an
occasional shore dive, but not very often.
