There were two distinct discussions going on at this point.  Whether Chuck
missed your point or not really doesn't matter much to the conversation that
had been going on.  Perhaps he didn't miss it, but rather ignored it in his
desire to continue the discussion he's been part of previously.

I'm afraid I missed your point this time, so I'll answer it in a way that's
probably different from what was intended.  It feels good.  I'm rarely
considered part of the "silent" anything.  When I am, it's worth savoring,
but not worth seeking.
