Actually, I used to drink in the former home of W.S. Gilbert, in Harrow
Weald (Old Redding) - it is an Hotel, not very big but quite poshe. In the
days in the UK when drinking hours were quite ridiculous I would visit
there with a young lady when all the pubs were shut & pretend to be a
guest, so could drink all day & night (as long as the night porter was
awake !). It was also about 200m from the best Night Club in the south of
England, of which I was also a regualr visitor :-)
