I realize that Suuntos are not a favorite on this list.  But I have to say
that I love my Vyper.  Great functionality, Nitrox, downloadable (with the
purchase of an expensive proprietary cable:), etc.

And I think the concern about it being too conservative is just a little
over-blown.  For the recreational diving I do, this has never been an issue
and for those here who have dived with me know, my dives are as long as
anyones.  Set in its most liberal mode, it  compares favorable with my old
Mariner II.
