Okay, Joe, the trick is to guess the year. You decided to take up scuba
diving, and you bought good equipment that will give you years of
service... not the most expensive equipment, but certainly not the cheapest
either. Here's what you bought:

Sportsways' Equalizer mask..........$ 5.95
U.S. Divers' Aqua-Fins.............. 8.95
Sportsways' Waterlung snorkel....... 2.95
Swimmaster Standard Life Preserver.. 7.95
U.S. Divers' Aquasharp knife........ 4.50
U.S. Divers' Aqua-Div Delux reg..... 35.00
Tank and harness to match reg
(with reserve)...................... 85.00
U.S. Divers' Calypso depth gauge.... 11.95
     Total $162.25

You've just spent one heck of a lot of money on diving, but at least the
instruction was reasonably priced. You asked the proprietor, "Is there
anything I need to know before I start diving?" He responded, "Yes, don't
hold your breath; don't come up faster than your smallest bubbles; and
always buy your air here; we sell the right kind for your tank."

        What year is it?

DPTNST,

John
