I very much doubt that they'd want to take me to DEMA now that I've pulled
the plug - and it's certainly not a decion that I've made lightly or in
haste.  I really am sorry that the proposed visit has come to naught.  It
was something that I was very much looking forward to - especially the
opportunity to at last meet and put faces to the names of some of the folks
on the list as well as catching up again with old friends.   :-(

I'm also very humbled by the generosity and hospitatlity that so many folks
kindly offered during that proposed visit, but I guess that I'll now just
have to work hard and create fresh opportunities to get over to your side of
the pond! :-)
