Feeeesh's remark made me reflect on my own failures to post often
enough. Anyway, I'd hasten to remind Feeeesh of our own miniNEDfests in
Chi town as well as a 2003 NEDfest in Kadavu that had Strike, Viv, Crusty,
Don Ward, and me in attendance. If all it takes is two NEDs to make a
NEDfest, I'll bet Feeeesh and Big Tuna (formerly Trumpetfish) as well as
Viv and Strike are having them all the time.

On another of Big Tuna's lists, SHARK-L, opinions and thoughts are
rife concerning a <Manly Daily> article about four juvenile copper sharks
(the most beautiful shark IMHO) found dead on Shelly Beach. Maybe we'll
see an editorial about the story in <NEKTON #12>.

A few years ago in the <New Yorker> magazine there was a cartoon
of a large muscular man standing over a small, elderly frail man lying on
the floor of a bar. The large muscular man was saying, "The truth hurts
doesn't it?" It's funny, and the NEDs should think about why it's funny.

DPTNST,

John
