Fortunately, I belong to the diving group. Today was the first day of the
local lobster mini season. A friend and I had staked out an area with more
than its share of lobster. We planned to visit it at midnight last night,
getting first shot at a limit (12 per day). The gods of weather didn't
cooperate, but we got out this morning. OK, so I didn't get 12, but I got
11, all large enough that I didn't have to use my guage to know they are
legal. If the weather's OK tomorrow, I'll be back at it again. Fresh
lobster is a wonderful thin and, after dinner tonight, I only have 6 left.
That's 6 dives in 4 days and there may be 4 more by the end of the week.
Living in such a diver's paradise is tough work, but somebody has to do it.
