I suppose it's a bit superfluous to suggest that - and just IMO - that the
Instructor who certified you should have been a bit more responsible and not
taken you, as a self-professed 'newbie' diver, on an apparent 30-metre
decompression dive. The fact that he did - and then seemed to leave you to
your own devices without checking on your gas supply - is doubly damning.
That he also apparently countenanced doing such a dive in rough seas(?) and
bad visibility(?) suggests that he's yet another certified Instructor rather
than one who's qualified! :-)
On the other hand, the fact that you've survived the experience must count
for something - I guess? :-)
