I found my original one and, sure enough, it will let me load Windows 98
from the original CD. I'm still having problems, however. I've reloaded it
about 3 times now and Norton keeps finding more infected files. I'm not
sure whether Norton is really finding them or, perhaps Norton 2001 does not
like Windows 98 applications.

Things just get worse and worse. HP does not have a driver for my printer
for Windows 2000 and I dare not load an older driver thanks to problems I
encountered the last time I did that with a HP driver. I have a Windows ME
drive and am about to dowload a driver for ME and print from that just to
get me out of the fix I'm in for tomorrow. After that, I'll figure out what
to do about getting everything up and running correctly, assuming of course,
that I can't get my home computer up and working correctly. Damn, I wish
I'd brought my portable printer home. I have drivers loaded for it.
