Bag limits - in Western OZ (WA) generally we have a bag limit of 5 legal
sized barra. It is the Lower Ord River that has the bag limit of 1 legal
sized barra.
Two things on the barra's side in regards to recreational fishing is access
to the main fishing areas in the Ord River. The two main points are below
the dam wall of Lake Kununurra & Ivanhoe Crossing. You need a 4wheel drive
vehicle to get there. Once thing on the barra's side in regards to

Barramundi can grow to a size of at least 150cm total length & 50kb weight.
Most of the commercial Western Oz catch centres around the Ord & Fitzroy
river systems. I think we have 4 or 5 licensed commercial barramundi
aquaculturists in WA. Fisheries WA is working on the idea of a high-yield
barra industry in Lake Argyle.
